Betrayal at House on the Hill 3. Edition

 

You want to explore the abandoned house on the hill with your group; at first, all cooperate but later one of you will turn traitor and a haunt will begin. You select one of twelve characters and lay out the starting tiles for the house. You move your character and stop before passing through a doorway if the room beyond is not explored. You lay it out and, if the tiles show a symbol, turn up a corresponding card for event, item or omen. Events are resolved; items and omen are kept for later use. If you must do an omen roll, and the result is 5, a haunt for the traitor begins. There are 50 scenarios for haunts. During a haunt, you can exchange items with the group, or you can attack other characters.
